FIT FOR FRIDAY – TM LEWIN

FIT FOR FRIDAY

Guys, its starts with the same age old question on a Friday morning, afternoon or for a bit of suspense………evening. “Are you going for a pint?!”

What better way to unwind after a stressful week of meetings, boardrooms, deadlines, paperwork, computers……….the same tedious and monotonous working regime! Your thinking to yourself Harvey Spector doesn’t live like this! Suits does indeed make…….Suits look glamorous. (If your unfamiliar with Suits I suggest you watch it, you’ll love it!) I’m venturing off the point a bit here I know but still;

Are you going for a pint after work?! You want to! Your lips are moist at the thought of sinking your favourite drink! You need it after all the paperwork this week! This is not the A4 you had in mind (Audi A4), eh?! BUT I can’t go dressed like this! I’m in a full suit for crying out loud!!!! For one reason or another you don’t feel comfortable rocking a suit to the local boozer. The local punters will take the piss out of you “Who do you think you are? Harvey Spector?!” Its time to get FIT FOR FRIDAY!

If its fitness tips your after then you’ll be disappointed! This is fitness for your wardrobe, guys! I shall take you through the ultimate FIT FOR FRIDAY guide which will allow you to look dapper without being accused of trying to be the next Harvey Spector!

Lets break it down. You go to work in suit. A suit! The ultimate man tool! The suit is so versatile the options are almost endless. Another factor to consider is mixing tailoring with casual wear is bang on trend at the moment! Your half way there with a suit!

FIT FOR FRIDAY

Some workplaces facilitate a casual dress code for employees on a Friday………that Friday Feeling! However, if your employers don’t then theres no need to worry. Simply save your best navy suit for Friday’s as this is the most versatile colour in the tailoring colour palette. It will go with almost any colour……..including black, surprisingly! Then again, black and blue rolls of the tongue doesn’t it so perhaps it was meant to be! Anyway, pick your best navy 3 piece suit for work on Friday.

In need of a navy suit?! Or you simply want to invest in a new one? Check out this beauty from TM LEWIN! The Holborn Two Tone 3 piece suit, I think you’ll agree it looks great! Not badly priced either at £354.

FIT FOR FRIDAY ON A CASUAL FRIDAY

The whole point of this post is you want to be FIT FOR FRIDAY! You’ve that Friday Feeling! Heading to your local pub in a slick 3 piece suit might appear to be too much? No Fear Fashionable Frank is here! Keep your Suit Jacket and possibly Waistcoat depending on how adventurous you are and add a pair of Chinos. Stone Chinos will provide a great contrast and emphasis the smart casual look you are going for!

TM LEWIN have some some nice Chinos. This pair are £44.95. TM LEWIN have a multi buy offer on their chinos too. There’s a lovely burgundy pair which would also work incredibly well with our navy colour scheme. A bit Autumn/Winter looking given its April however the multi buy offer provides good value for money. I’d recommend picking them guys!

You’ll definitely need to change your shirt no matter how good your hygiene is (leave the lynx at home!) we want a more casual look so that means a casual shirt!

Navy on navy is not necessarily a no, no (no, no, no there’s no limit!) as the Suit Jacket may come off when your sitting down in the pub. If you have the Waistcoat on even better (I love waistcoats! They add a different dimension to your outfit. Also its worth noting you’ll stand out a bit more in a waistcoat especially if it has a contrast back!). The contrast buttons on this casual shirt are a great feature and will break up the navy on navy.

This TM LEWIN Navy Oxford Shirt is priced at £34.95

You can’t go wrong with a white shirt (I would have the waistcoat for this look though to break up the light coloured Chinos and white shirt. Remember contrast is key!) This shirt is the same price as the navy one.
