Some Summer Lovin’. Everything just looks so much better in the sun…………….usually. However as the temperatures rise the first thing to go out the door (or the window depending on where you are located) in menswear terms seems to fashion! In a desperate bid to cool down we lose all sense of style! The opposite applies to women. Women utilise summer fashion much better than us men. Day time summer fashion is something that will be tackled at a later day (its rather hot at the moment……I’m trying to cool down, don’t judge me!). Meanwhile, for some inspiration check out this shorts inspired blog post or this gem regarding skinny jeans, you won’t be disappointed!
This blog post, Summer styling (10 points for originality!) concerns how to dress day to night. With the temperatures soaring and sun beating down on us the tendency is to wear as less as possible. For men that usually means t-shirts and shorts. However if you would like to smarten up your look then its time to consider lightweight breathable materials like linen for your top half for example shirts and blazers. Chinos are a great alternative to jeans when the sun comes out. Chinos are, without going into too much detail……..less sticky!
My outfit consists of these materials. Also the colour palette is light pastels which just happen to be bang on trend at the minute! Stylish and comfortable………..are you not entertained! (Sorry, I’m sitting here in my underpants thinking I’m Maximus Decimus Meridius!). If you have no clue what I am referring to then watch Gladiator. You will be entertained! Fashion and movie suggestions, what next? (ask the bar tender for a grenade tonight. Its a Jagabomb with flavoured vodka, you will be entertained! Please consume alcohol responsibly!)
